Can I have a tour of Oaklane Kennels? |

Oaklane welcomes visitors to come and see what we offer. We would love to meet your pets. However, we ask that all necessary forms be filled out and vaccination records be provided before pets may enter the play areas. In addition, please call ahead to make an appointment so that we may give you our full attention. |

Are boarding reservations required? How far in advance should I make reservations? |

Reservations are required and are especially important during the busy holiday seasons. We cannot guarantee a place for your pet without a reservation. It’s never too early to sign up, and the sooner you reserve, the better. We require at least 48 hours notice of cancellation. A $30.00 cancellation fee will be charged if we receive notice less than 48 hours in advance. This prevents us having empty “rooms” after turning others away. |

What do I need to check in? |

You will need to complete and sign our “Daycare and Boarding Agreement.” Please download a copy of the pet care agreement from this web site, and fill it out before you come.
You will need the following items to fill out the form: Shot records – Please obtain this information before the day of arrival. We take your pet’s health seriously, and we make no exceptions to our vaccination policies. Contact Numbers - Where you can be reached while your pet is visiting Oaklane Kennels, and the number of your pet’s veterinarian in case of an emergency. Medicine – We are glad to give your pet necessary medication free of charge. However, we do not give shots. For boarding, you should bring your pet’s favorite toys, and enough food (plus extra) for their stay. We take pride in offering clean, comfortable bedding, or you may provide your own. |

Are flea and tick dips or shampoos available? |

Our Grooming by Miss Candace offers a gentle conditioning flea and tick shampoo at a small additional charge. The shampoo is excellent not only at killing fleas, but also at conditioning the skin and leaving your pet with a pleasant scent. |
